Recently retired one activity we'd like to add to our RV experiences is fishing. At this point we'd rather not get a boat again. Looking for R V parks where shore fishing is possible..........and pref...

a very good point. some states had daily non-resident licenses that worked out quite well. others had only expensive annual licenses. If a Virginian fished mostly Gaston/Kerr it would be cheaper for him/her to buy a non-resident NC license instead of an annual VA one and he/she would have access to all of NC lakes.
