We spent a week at the Naval Base in Corpus. We have a 33 FW. They have easy wide back ins on the beach. Nice laundry. Commissary and BX that was nice. Also a great market and seafood store down the road off base. We made reservations ahead of time. It was over Memorial Weekend. We will definitely go back. We have stayed at a few FamCamps and have liked them. Pt. Cherry, Havelock, NC has a really nice one we stayed at last year. Ft. Fischer, NC campground is plain but you are walking distance to the beach so it makes up for it. The price is always good also. I would make reservations during popular seasons. No guns are allowed on base if you carry. Animals need papers. I.D. required for all members.
