No it isn't.....necessarily.
It is your PERCEPTION, based mostly on 15 year old information and from a different situation no less (an "event" is different than just parking). You also overlook public transit.
One should be able to "survive" for 3 days without hookups.
Parking there would be super convenient to a lot of stuff.
It would be nice to know the cost ahead of time.
