We're going to do a week at Glacier next summer just before we spend 2 weeks in Yellowstone and then another week in the Grand Tetons. We have made a bunch of trips to Yellowstone and have found that 2 weeks is just about right. The more time you have, the less rushed you'll be to see everything. Take your lunch and spend the whole day exploring just one area. There are loads of not too stressful hikes that will get you away from all the crowds. Be sure to check out the ranger led activities and evening campfire programs.
