It depends is the answer.
We used to go there every summer for 1-2 weeks until the kids were in college. It was great.
We hike, fish, look for out of the way thermal features. Hit the boardwalks. Have lunch or dinner in one of the great restaurants. Enjoy the lounges. Play cribbage before dinner. The ranger led hikes are good as well.
Sticking around a nice campsite with a book and learning about the park is also great. And there are the ranger talks at night.
