If I thought it would be few and far between trips, I’d consider 3 weeks as a minimum. But if I went to YS I’d have to go to the Tetons, too. And YS is huge, I put 400 miles on just inside the park last trip. If future trips were in the offing I think 2 weeks would work for me. Much less than that and I’d feel like I was doing a drive by.
