What is your opinion on the minimum length of stay at Yellowstone to see everything, or at least as much as possible? Currently planning our last leave before we retire and thought about doing two ...

My advice:
Spend 10-12 days, but spread your visit between Grand Teton National Park and then north to Yellowstone. You can spend 2-3 days at Grand Teton and then 7-8 days in Yellowstone. If you have a longer block of time, then sure, head over to Glacier!!
