What kind of jeep do you have? How modified is it? Trail recommendations will depend on your jeep, your confidence, and your stamina.
Well, I have a 1983 Jeep CJ7 that will be modified enough before I get there. Currentily it spends about 4 weeks at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes here in Michigan and does everything I've ever ask it to do. I have "Trail Master" designation often so quite confidant. As for stamina, I'll leave that one alone... LOL
Many of the harder trails at Moab are orders of magnitude harder than anything you've encountered at Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Take a look at the ratings in the links I gave above. Even level 6 (out of 10) means 33'+ tires, full lockers. Check out this video of Pritchett Canyon (9 rating). Or how about Metal Masher (only a 7 rating) or Moab Rim (another 7) If you're wanting to do something 7 or more, I'd have the big tires, full lockers, a winch, and as much of the underbody covered with skid plates as possible. It's good you're going with several other couples, as it's nice to have spotters plus you'll often need help with a winch in the tough spots.
