Lauren, you accuse a business of lying and you have no idea if they are, or not. There are a multitude of reasons that the campground and the surrounding area, or the entire town, could be having internet issues, and the McDonalds, several miles away, is working just fine. Unless you got the information straight from the local network provider, how the heck do you know if you were lied to, or not?
You have been bashing Spanish Trails for a long time, here on the forum. It might be time to get over it. As many have stated, and you can't seem to process, if you have a NEED for internet access, you have a responsibility to provide it for yourself. There isn't a campground owner in north america that will tell you that you have anything close to reasonable expectations on this issue. Due to the exponential growth in data consumption, even brand new local networks at campgrounds are obsolete, and overloaded, within a few years. Now add a few clowns attempting to stream movies, and it's game over. It always has been, and will continue to be a problem in the near future.
As I stated in another one of your rants attempting to damage the place, like most reasonable people, the DW and I spent a week there last summer, and found it to be real nice park with decent folks in the office. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it. OTOH, I do have rational expectations on everything from the NEED to provide my own internet, to the fact that stuff happens, including things like water pipes breaking, and other small inconveniences.
Might be time to quit flogging this dead horse, particularly since you are attacking a decent, well run CG, not some poorly run dump, and as you may of noted, generating nothing but a long list of reply calling you out on the fact.
