Looking for a nice campground in Monroe or near Monroe Louisiana. Daughter goes to ULM College and looking for somewhere nearby. Looking for something more than just a place to park.

- You can probably stay with Willie Robertson. Need to check with Si first........
- We have done an over night at Quachita several times. Nice folks run it and it's easy on / easy off I-20. Clean enough with lots of worker bees staying there. Not a bother to us as we used to be worker bees ourselves. If you want a 'resort' then stay someplace else.
- I've seen mixed reviews on Quachita. Considering just staying at Jimmy Davis State Park, but that's about 40 miles away, which may not be a big deal.
- There is not a real nice place to camp in the area. We stayed at the Pavilion in West Monroe which is probably the best place around but there is not much to it. Hope you daughter enjoys ULM. Wife and I both went there (SEVERAL) years ago. Wife is from West Monroe.
- Do not stay at Ouachita RV park,
- I am going there in Oct I was considering staying there as well.
