Big Sky, Montana (south of Bozeman, on the road to West Yellowstone) has several golf courses. The Yellowstone Club and Spanish Peaks are both elite and private which means you will not get on unless you know some very rich and powerful people. Big Sky Resort, however has a very nice Arnold Palmer designed course open for public play. While it is not as spectacular as the private courses, it still is at 6500+ feet making for some long straight drives. It is located below Lone Peak, along the West Gallatin River. Good chance you will be sharing the course with some elk and bighorn sheep. It would be a good day trip during a Yellowstone Visit.
