Monument Valley Utah

Houston, we have a problem :(


our little sidekick is having problems with the clutch. We rented a car, got it "fixed" and it's still doing the same thing. Difficult to shift into gear :M husband is taking it in AGAIN for the 3rd time to see what is wrong.


might have to rent a car in Moab :( just to see Monument Valley.

We've been in the Four Corners area many, many times. The OP wanted boondocking spots for Monument Valley. Gooseneck State Park works well. Lots to keep our interest in the area. Hovenweep, Lowry, Mesa Verde, Anasazi Heritage Center, Canyon de Chelly, Hubble Trading Post, Natural Bridges, Newspaper Rock, etc. Yes, Monument Valley is a small part but an awesome part! To see all of it you need to move around to different areas.

Nothing was mentioned about the Monument Valley RV not recommended area, by the OP. That was stated in a separate comment.

The lift kits and mechanical stuff, maybe a bit. But still helpful information for anyone thinking of visiting the region.

Seems all interesting to me.

Maybe one needs to become more familiar with what is often called, The Four Corners Area of Utah. Which Monument Valley is a very small part of. Better yet, take some of the suggestions above and go visit it yourself!
