A short walk along the trail from the lower town to the C&O Canal will take you from West Virginia to Maryland in just a few minutes. We stayed at the KOA.

Double ditto on Harpers Ferry and the C&O.
On another trip or perhaps on this one you might enjoy the A. C. Stickley Bed and Breakfast in Strasburg, VA. We took a side trip and accidentally discovered this sweet little spot.
