Also be aware that no matter what his commute times are going to be at least a hour most days, and much longer than that the rest of the time. Seattle traffic is about the worst on the west coast, IMHO even much worse than LA traffic. I have spent up to four hours trying to get through Seattle area on more than one occasion.
