That's good news that Hubby's at the waterfront station,too- opens up a bunch of possibilities on the other side of the Sound. A half hour ferry commute is all he'd have to do if y'all lived in Bremerton or Winslow. He wouldn't have to even bring a vehicle, just walk from the ferry terminal.
He'd probably actually be closer to work that way- few if any RV parks near downtown on the Seattle side..
Welcome to the Northwest from a retired AF MSgt. Sound advice above. You will not find a long term area near the pier. A ferry commute would put you in some good areas. If you stay on the east side of the sound he's going to have a commute of an hour or more.
The time of year you are coming up is prime for a drive up the Oregon coast. Try to firm up your plans soon so you can make reservations.
