Moving to Denver - full timing
I've just started my research into places to full-time in the Denver area. I'm a little disappointed so far finding the rates a little higher than here in the Southeast. So far I've found 3 sites to contact for more info:
Cherry Creek in Aurora - don't list a monthly rate and require purchase of a park pass in addition to site rental. Not a fan of places where visitors/friends would need to pay to come see me, but it looks like a lovely place with great reviews.
Prospect RV Park in Wheat Ridge - comparable monthly rate to what I'm paying in Atlanta now, except that they charge for electricity usage on top of the rate.
Clear Creek RV Park in Golden - appears small and peaceful, but very little info available online.
Anyone have any experience with these locations or can recommend some that I may have missed by browsing the Good Sam site and rvparkreviews.com?
Also, what sort of ballpark figure could I expect to be paying if I'm charged for my own electricity use? When I rented an apartment, my bills were usually around $100/mo. I do tend to run quite a few appliances during the day - 46" LED TV, 2 laptop computers, 2 electric space heaters, domestic refrigerator, full sized microwave.
Thanks for any help in advance!
