Mt. Olympus - Wisconsin Dells

It is basically an old motel/hotel that they turned into a campground. they used the parking lot for the sites. so it is literally a parking lot! LOL. lot`s of other better choices in the area. the Jellystone is nice. we stayed at Holiday Shores 2 years ago and liked it. this year we are staying at Stand Rock campground which is supposed to be very nice. if you want to be on the strip, Bonanza is a good choice. I would personally like to be off the strip at night just for the quietness.

Look up WACO (Wisconsin campgrounds) and look up the dells/lake delton area and you`ll find what you want.

We drove by it and it looked like a cramped parking lot to park your rig at. Check out Stand Rock, the only down side is the train. We were up front on sites, so easier to hear them.

I was considering making one of our first trips down to stay at Mt. Olympus also since we have been there and stayed at the hotel before and they do have a fabulous package deal for campers BUT the reviews are bad.

We won't be getting our tow package until next spring and I didn't want to have to drive a second car so I guess we'll just be practicing for our California 2015 trip at CGs closer to home this summer.

We are staying at Holiday Shores June 26th - July 3rd. Never been there but it sounds real nice. I hope it is as nice as it sounds.

Holiday Shores was nice. we were there 2 years ago in the new pull throughs. Not sure what section you are staying in, but there is no shade in the pull throughs. our A/C struggled over the 4th just to keep the trailer at 80 degrees on a 100 degree day!

We stayed at Mt. Olympus campground, yes about just a parking lot and very close to your neighbor, could not put awning out. We were there just for 2 days to just do the park and that was fine, we then moved out to Del Boo for the rest of our stay, nice park small & quiet. A short ride back to town

The past couple of times we have gone we have stayed at Country Roads Motorhome & RV park. I see you said 3 teenage boys, this park does however require that those under 18 be accompanied by an adult. We were typically only there to sleep so it made no difference to us. It was quiet, and inexpensive. And just outside all the attractions of town. We have also been to stand rock campground and enjoyed that as well. FYI..Depending on what you are wanting to do at the Dells check out the bundle packages,, it will save you $$ ..we are also a fan of Noahs Ark Water Park. Hope this helps.

We just got home from 3 days in the Dells. We stayed at Bonanza for the first time. Previous stays have been at the KOA. We liked Bonanza. We stayed in the full hook up pull through sites. They include 4 wristbands for Chula Vista water park which is about a 4-5 mile drive. They are, however, literally right across the street from Mt. Olympus. You would never know it once you are in the campground. It sits in the woods nicely insulated from the beehive of activity just down the drive way. We drove by the Mt. Olympus campground (which is quite a distance away) and it looked just like previous posters have stated. It was simply a parking lot with RVs lined up next to each other.

Holiday Shores is a nice campground, except for all the golf carts. Some turns are very tight to get around also.
