Got a great one. Camp La Wis Wis. Dry camping. Next to a raging rapid. Beautiful! Not for large rigs or ability challenged drivers. There is a sign at gate which says "No vehicles over 30'".
Our 5er is just under 36' so we figured the sign did not apply to us. Down into the CG we went. The loop road is really tight. Most sites are guarded by big mean trees. We got ourselves into one much to the entertainment of the camp host who watched from afar. One of the most beautiful sites we have ever been in. Well worth the effort to squeeze into.
Someday you won't be so lucky, in the fall of 2012 this guy with a oversize MH thought he could camp in the Ohanapecosl CG MT.Rainer (32'max lenght ) and got stuck backing into the site and no one could get him out without damaging a big tree. The ranger called for a tow to get him out and it cost him a $500.00 ticket plus the tow fee.
I know this because the Ranger and camp Host told me about it.
