There are two entrances for Mount Rainier on the west side. Paradise and Sunrise
Personally I like Paradise but both are awesome. Check out RV campground in the town of Ashland, WA as that is about as close as you are going to get to the Paradise entrance. Check out Tacoma Power Campgrounds around the town of Morton. They are within driving distance.
