Mt rushmore, rafter j, or kemps kamp, or koa?

Just looking for a consensus from folks that have been there. I've read the reviews on all the campgrounds on rv park reviews, and trip advisor, and everywhere I could find one...lol .
Thanks!
  • Keeping anything "well maintained" during Sturgis Bike Rally is quite impressive!
  • We stayed at the KOA last August - we were happy with the stay. We were there during the Sturgis Bike Rally and it was very quite and well maintained - we had a pull through site.

  • I stayed at the KOA on the East side of town. took the toad to the touristy/congested places.
    bumpy
  • We liked Custer State Park. A little more of a drive to Mt. Rushmore, but more scenic too. Research which route you take, Some of the back roads have NARROW tunnels and hair pin turns.
