Two years ago we saw 10 shows in 3 day/nights...everyone of them, one was better than the next. Had a great time' even at the less expensive shows. Have fun.... - rvnuttsExplorer IIWe happen to love Branson and think there is some amazing talent! The Haygoods have a wonderful show. Don't forget to catch the show in Echo Hollow at Silver Dollar City! We also loved all the shows at Sight and Sound theater. The last one was Jonah and we were wishing we had kids with us! If you are a history buff, the Titanic would be a good choice. As someone mentioned, be sure to go downtown and stroll the antique "Junk" stores. My last treasure was a porcelain doll for $5. As for food, our favs would be breakfast at Grand country buffet, lunch by the river (lake) at Branson Landing, the best ribs at O Charlies.Other thins of interest would be the IMAX, Table Rock Lake visitor center with movie on how the dam was made, Dam tours (we did this and really enjoyed it!), fire and water show at the landing, the Ducks ride. If you go into Springfield, got to Bass Pro and then eat at Lamberts. I think you will find plenty to enjoy. It should be beautiful in October!
