Aurabbit79er,
In case you didn't notice, after Mike reposted my list I added one more item to it way down at the bottom that is not shown in Mike's copy:
"An adjustable roof vent near both ends of the living space, with vent covers over the vent lids, so that the interior can still be ventilated in heavy rains and high winds."
Priority-wise, addition of vent lid covers probably should be high on any RV owner's improvement list. After buying our RV, we went a couple of years without these and got tired of replacing sun-cracked vent lids, wind rattling/breaking of open vent lids, hurrying back to the rig from hiking because we thought it was going to rain into our open vents, no ventilation in high winds, and no or very little ventilation in humid rain conditions when you need it most.
IMHO, vent lid covers are VERY IMPORTANT in both hookup and drycamp situations. I don't recommend the automatically closing rain sensor vent lid covers ... they don't close in high winds so you still get the rattling and/or broken lids, the sun can still dry out and crack the the vent lids, and if the "automatic" system ever fails when you are away from the RV, you could be left with a very wet interior!!
Lots of very good ideas in this thread. I sure hope I get to a point when I can include more high tech components into my RV. This may be one of the most concentrated posts regarding RVing I've never read.
