For what it's worth, a few days ago I bought one of those long handled tree limb trimmers that has a motor down by your side in a harness driving a chain-saw type cutting head up at the end of a long handle.
It breaks down into a couple of short pieces, so I'm trying to decide if I should start carrying it along permanently in our RV just in case we want to get into some camping spots without tearing up our roof or side walls from low hanging limbs in the process or ... Heaven Forbid worse yet ... having to turn around and not go into those camping spots.
For example, one RV'er recently described having to cut overhead limbs in order to get into the area near the Cosmic Ashtray in New Mexico.
