You mentioned the Wisconsin Dells, if you get close to there I have an all day stop for you. Look up the Circus Museum at Barabo. The kids aren't the only ones that will love this stop.
I'm going to take it for granted that you have done The Henry Ford Museum complex, The Gilmore Collection (cars), The Kalamazoo Air Zoo, The Soo Locks, and the Iron Museum in Marquette, Hartwick Pines, the saw mill on the way to Mackinaw. I don't know how the Dossin Museum on Belle isle will be affected by Belle Isle becoming a state park, but it can't hurt.
