Well it is Myrtle Beach and not Yellowstone! I for one like Pireate Land. Very nice and relaxing. The golf carts weren't all that bad (we rented one). At PL they stop all golf carts at 11pm. After that all you here is the ocean.
I would definitely go back. I too wanted to stay at Ocean Lakes, but after looking at the sites up by the ocean I decided against it, didn't really want to trip over my truck coming out the door!
