Agree with what Tom N said. While you can't SEE the water from your site, you can walk there in a jiffy. That said........
Sites close to the shore have no shade, so if you're there in the summer it will be HOT during the day in your rig. Also, each of the sites have a little "cabana" that provides some shade outside in addition to (or in place of) your awning. Enjoy and safe travels.
