Yes the ocean front sites at the South end near the restaurant can and will flood at high tide. The waves appeared to actually break thru the opening in the sand dune. the sites on the oceanfront at the North End do not.
Still in all. It is one of the nicer Myrtle Beach CGs. Super clean heated, and AC, bath houses. Huge pull thru sites, with picnic shelters, and you can walk to Apache Pier. Also close to restaurant row, Tanger, and Barefoot landing.
