Me loves Hunting Beach...
We end up at Lakewood in the SEP/OCT time frame each year for a mini-family reunion. One of my sister's has a place at Lakewood. Usually coincides with Bikers week haha...
Lakewood is nice but sometime yearn for the more backwoods environment. Hunting Beach serves us well in that regard... Tried the Myrtle Beach State Park on the beach which was nice as well but sure was loud at times with the airplanes going overhead every five minutes landing and taking off from the local airport.
Hard not to find a good eating place along the US17 corridor...
