N Nevada/S Idaho - Jarbidge and Murphy Hot Springs Area

The obvious routes are from Rogerson, ID, the southwest and the southeast through O/Neil Basin mentioned by NevadaNick. I like to stop at the Cottonwood Ranch and talk with the Smith family. Good place to take a shower.

If you don't like wash board roads and remoteness you are looking in the wrong place. Jarbidge is a huge wilderness area where vehicles are not allowed. The town site is not that easy to get to. People take RVs in that country but it is remote.
