Going to spend a month or so "Doing" Michigan this summer and would appreciate any and all ideas of things to see and do in Michigan. Thanks one and all.

Michigander here. You've picked a great place to vacation. My suggestion is to make sure you stop by our welcome center when you enter the state. They have more information brochures than you could ever read and a free map. Our state parks are 1st rate, but might be hard to get into without a reservation. As others have said, there is too much to see and do for a post. You won't be disappointed in anything you decide.
