Going to spend a month or so "Doing" Michigan this summer and would appreciate any and all ideas of things to see and do in Michigan. Thanks one and all.

There is a whole lot and lots of variety in Michigan. Please give us a hint what you want to do and what kind of range you have.
You can run E-W on I-94 and be in striking range of 7 major museums. That is just one road and we haven't gotten to anything adventuresome yet. You can actually paddle from Lake Huron to Lake Michigan and only portage about 2 miles.
We can kill a weekend here any time and have been at it for 40 years.
