Just to refresh my post and answer the question of why I desire 50 amps. We prefer to heat our trailer using our heat pump AC unit and supplement it with the electric fireplace. To run both and have any reserve power, 50 is what we need!
A few years ago, we stayed at a "condo" RV park named Blue Heron. It was on the north side of the lake. Does anyone know if they are still open and rent sites by the night to RV'ers?
