Need Colorado Help ASAP

I need some suggestions. We always stay at Tiger Run Resort in Breckenridge and they are booked solid in July. This was a last minute trip plan. We don't mind traveling a bit farther, however, most certainly want full hook ups and a view. Does anyone have any suggestions on a nice park? Thank you so much, David

Do you want to stay in that general area, or are you open to other Colorado locales? If you're looking for parks of the same caliber/rating as Tiger Run, you're going to need a broader area than Breck. There's a couple of parks in Golden, some in Colorado Springs that might be similar in ratings. Guess it really depends on how important amenities are to you.
  • Just east of Glenwood springs there is a full hookup private park, just before the last tunnel into Glenwood. View, well its all around but it is on the banks of the Colorado River. There may be a small park west of Leadville on the way to Turquoise Lake that has full hookups, just not sure.

I think its at the No Name exit.

    Good Luck!

Try Leadville and Buena Vista, Turquoise Lake and the Collegiate Peaks are both great and a day trip over Independence Pass will like change your thoughts on your favorite spot in Colorado. IMHO the Camp site in Colorado is secondary to the location.

    BOL,
  • Colorado has a lot of great State Parks, but very few will have full hook ups, and even less are likely to be available in July (especially if you will be there on a weekend). Good luck with your search.

    Good to hear from a fellow Crownie. I have a 2004 216LS.
