We go from Tucson every other year.

This is backwards as we do I10 out of Az going to Fl.
Rule number one in TX when you can top off fuel ... do so.
I10 is being redone in LA near the 18 mile long bridge, quite a bit of construction this year.
We have done this route for at least 10 years and had no problem with the cops anywhere BUT always stay in the right lane except to pass and when going through Houston and other big citys staying in the lane the semis are in they do those cities all the time.
We find many drivers that are not very good on freeways so drive defensively.
