Need more Adult RV Parks

Nothing against children, but adults that need to be around other adults without children or grand children is a welcome site. We have our own group of adults and it is enjoyable just to be around other adults without children around. My wife and myself don't have children and are used to this life style in our motorhome. Please don't think we don't like children but we like our adult privacy also.
  • I don't want to hang out with a bunch of old grouchy, busybody gizzers talking about their ills, medications and politics. I'd rather have some young'ns around. They are entertaining and keep you young. They just have bad taste in music :)
There a bunches of adult parks. I honestly try to avoid them.
  • We are currently wintering in a park that is mostly older adults and the quiet is heavenly. I find the sense of community very friendly and welcoming. We haven't found people to be nosey or gossiping, everyone seems to be too busy enjoying themselves too much for that. I totally get adult communities now, and it has nothing to do with not liking children.
  • Our experience....it's often the loud, drunk, belligerent "adults" that are the biggest problem when camping.
  • I know what you mean. I like quiet also. I would post more but it would he deleted anyway. I can say been there done that now I want quiet.
  • I don't understand your problem, there are tons of adult/55+ parks all over the place. We average 50 campgrounds a year and are hardly bothered by children. Just look for adult parks.
  • We recently stayed for some time in a 55+ campground and the quietness and the "little old busy bodies" drove me NUTS! I personally prefer some youth around.
  • Well...thanks for sharing! :)

Wait- Thanks for not sharing! :)

No, guess that doesn't work, either.

    Never mind! :)
