If you want to stay around Jackpot, here's where we stayed and here are my notes. The price is probably higher now:
Hwy. 93. 20 mi. N. of Jackpot, NV. At Rogerson & the Sinclair Station, take the Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir Dam Rd. west for 10 mi. It’s paved. Just before the Dam on the left is entrance to Lud Drexler BLM Park. We stayed in the campground. Very quiet, spacious sites. Clean, smell-free chemical toilets, table, firepit, grill. Dump station. Water wasn’t turned on yet. Beautiful view of lake & distant snow-covered mtns. $5 or $2.50 w/Golden Age. Just down from the campground is free boondocking at the water’s edge but a lot of fishermen used it & it was busy with traffic. N42 12.460 W114 43.888
