We have found that there seem to be a higher number of less courteous campers on Memorial weekend than any other. I think there are more people that just go once or twice a year and they really do not, or choose not to, understand "quiet hours" and other park rules. This is the one time annually when we avoid camping.
Now that I am retired, I really like camping during the week and then heading home for the weekend. Most parks around here are really quiet during the week.
