There Is high level discussion amongst the medical experts about potentially extending the quarantine to 21 days.
Because of existing travel restrictions it’s been tough to get a handle on this, but there have been a noticeable number of people becoming sick a longer time following a potential exposure than conventional wisdom says should be possible.
The first definitive case has just been published. A woman returned to New Zealand from Europe, went through the usual 14 day quarantine and the 10 days after that tested positive!
