I don't do full hookup CG's so can't help there.
Some places to visit, and popular CGs if I know of any, although I've not used them.
Boston (Normandy Farms), Plymouth, Cape Cod (Atlantic Oaks CG), Mystic/Groton (Seaport RV), White Mts/Mt Washington/Franconia Notch area, Kittery and Freeport ME if you like to shop, Campabello (need Visa, it's a long drive), Rockport ME is nice but crowded, Newport RI (Fisherman's Memorial State Park, has full hookups but they are hard to get), Gloucester, Newburyport, Kennebunkport/Old Orchard Beach/Cape Elizabeth, Mt Desert Island/Acadia, Grand Island/Lake Champlain/Ft Ticonderoga, Ben & Jerry's, Cabot Creamery, Adirondacks/Lake Placid, Niagara, Letchworth, Thousand islands.
Enough to make a loop.
Thanks...your help is much appreciated.
If your touring lower New England Fishermans Memorial is the way to go. If your into biking you can ride your bike from your campsite to the ferry which is down the street and go to scenic Block Island and spend a day riding, shopping and taking in the scenery! Lots of good eats at the local pubs too! Fishermans is also a easy day trip to Mystic CT and the Newport Mansions! As Padlin mentioned, I would book no later than mid January as place is very sought after.
Mike
Hey Mike....thanks for taking the time to give me some suggestions. Just looked at the Fishermans Memorial CG and already finding it difficult to find a vacancy.
Thanks again,
