New England Lake Front

A group of friends are tossing around ideas for a week of vacation next year. Looking for something lake front in NY, NH, VT. Full hookup preferably....Any suggestions?
Twice we have been to association Island in Lake Ontario.
Looking for other options.

Thanks,
Nick
  • Coming all the way from New Jersey, you would want really nice rv park for your vacation.

Danforth Bay is an excellent rv park with full hook up sites, some lakefront, but don't wait to long to book a summer vacation, it fills up fast.
  • Apple Island (mentioned before) is pretty nice. They have an antique tool museum on the grounds which is worth checking out if it's at all of interest.

The City of Burlington, VT runs North Beach campground, which is a bit less resort-like. The beach is very nice sand, and it's right on the bike path (which extends for many miles along the shore of lake Champlain).

Champlain Adult Campground we were there 2 yrs ago, Full hookups, park like grounds, fishing, canoeing, kayaking. as the campground name says... which is more geared for older Rvers

Thanks for the tip but among the 5 families we camp with there are about 8 kids. So I'm thinking this is not the place.

Danforth bay looks pretty nice so far.

    Thanks,
    Nick

We have been to Danforth Bay several times, good choice too!

  • Ellacoya State Park in Laconia, NH. It's right on beautiful lake Winnipesaukee.
  • Danforth Bay, Freedom NH
Poland Spring Resort, Poland Spring, ME

On lakes but depending on what you consider "lake front" might not suit your needs.
