Ok, so I'm newer than most of you at camping and tailgating, but that is about to change. However my luck isn't the best these days. My wife being an employee of Geico won 6 tickets to Talladega Speedway with infield camping. With a new roof on my Jayco, we leave on the 200 mile trip this Wednesday thinking we will be in Geico Yellow! After looking at the physical windshield sticker and information, It says we are in Frontrunners club 1 row 5! That's a motorhome section only! We emailed them and tried calling but they only work late hours week of race. Has this ever happened to you? What should I expect?

Rent a MH....split it 6 waysRent a vehicle so you can get around....slit it 6 waysNeed to be there 6 AM Wednesday Morning to stage for 'first come/first served' (after renewals have entered)Need a MH for that Section!

I will be volunteering again for this race and will be at Frontrunner I or II, not sure which yet. I would make sure to contact the track immediately. Both of these sections are MH only. Geico Yellow is not MH only, but is different than either of the Frontrunner sections. Make sure you bring all of your supplies with you when you arrive. Most all areas of the infield are no In/Outs. There are exceptions, but better to know before you arrive.

If you find out that a class C motorhome is OK there but NOT what you have......I will be happy to trade places with you, even up. ;-)

As of right now no campfires are allowed at Talladega. The entire area is under a flash fire warning due to drought.

Any self-contained RV should do.

Those tickets cost $550 for 2 people

Six tickets equals $1650

MH Rental is CHEAP to enjoy & use those tickets

That section (Frontrunners club 1) is MOTORHOMES ONLY

OP.....

Might be able/allowed to 'exchange' the USE of those tickets for one of the other sections that allow trailers.

As of now, I pull an older 26' Jayco Eagle travel trailer with a 2014 GMC crew cab Sierra 5.3.
We contacted a few people at Geico where the tickets came from and they thought there wasn't a difference in travel trailer and rv motorhome sections. SOOOOO, we wait until morning to straighten this out, hoping for the best.
Being this close to the events, I'm finding it hard to rent a motorhome for my family, which is my wife and 4 teenagers and myself! All advice is appreciated.
