I very highly recommend the Fifty Point Conservation Area on the shore of Lake Ontario (somewhat between a US National Park and a US State Park). This was recommended to us by an Ontario couple who are our friends and who stayed in their fifth-wheel in our back yard here in Texas. Maybe just a few minutes further out from the Falls, but well worth it in my opinion. That is, for sure, where we would go back for any visit to Niagara Falls.
