We were fortunate to have Canadian friends who gave us good advice for our first visit to Niagara Falls. We crossed over from Port Huron, MI into Sarnia, Ontario. The crossing itself was pleasant and without delay. We did have everything in order, but were asked only the most basic questions and sent on our way.
We met our friends at the Fifty Point Conservation Area on Lake Ontario. It was a great place to relax. We ceratinly hope to get back there some day. It is not really close to the Falls, but we made a nice day trip of it with our friends.
We crossed back into the US at the Falls and, again, our crossing was pleasant and with very little delay. We spent an afternoon at the American side of the falls, and as someone has said, we got right up close and it was well worth it to see both sides. We stayed at a little motel/RV park on the American side before heading on south toward home.
