If you stay at the KOA on Grand Island, make sure you stay in the front section, or if in the 2nd section, stay as close to the front section as possible. The KOA is right next to the thruway, and the noise next to the thruway is horrible. We stayed on the last row, and the noise was awful...24 hrs a day. Other than that, it was a nice place.
