Niagara Falls

Leaving for Niagara Falls next week. Any recommendations on campgrounds to stay at from those that have been there on the US side? Thanks

  • Not directly in response, but a couple years ago we accidently discovered Goat Island which is on the US side. It is a "do not miss" experience. Visit the Tesla museum, take the elevator down to river level and walk on the boardwalk under Bridle Veil falls. It is the best Niagara experience.

Can't recommend any campgrounds on US side. Only know of one and never stayed there.
  • We stayed at the KOA on the Canadian side which gives you a much better and cleaner view of the falls. It was a little pricey, but close in and convenient to the Falls. Lots to see on that side besides the Falls.

Are you looking to stay on the US side or Canadian side? I have stayed at Lundy Lane on canadian Side the last couple times. Either side just be sure to have credit cards or cash (lots of it).
The Canadian side has a lot more activities and is cleaner than the NY side.

    The US side.
