what is the best place to stay? Getting the passports and what to doing on both sides.

I recommend any CG on the US side, we have visited Canada 2X in our RV in the Niagara Falls area and both times had big hassles coming back across in it, The last time we went we camped in the US and walked across the bridge to Canada, you can get buses etc on the Canadian side. Just had bad experiences there I guess.
