Nolin Lake State Park Kentucky

I've stayed at that campground a number of years ago and found it to be very nice. It had just been redone at that point so everything was relatively new. I has a nice beach on the lake. The Mammoth Cave area has a lot of nice trails around it if you like to hike. There is also a number of tourist activities/traps in the area depending on what you like to do. Your are also close to the Corvette museum if you would like to check out the cars from the sink hole that opened up under it.

We love to hike and will look into all the trails. As for the corvette museum, unless they've made sure that the hole is finished sinking I do not want to be around that place! :E

IIRC, there is a COE park also on Nolan lake. Quite sure that's where we stayed when we visited Mammoth Caves. Not sure what you have for a rig, but from the COE park the most direct route included a ferry ride (Free, if memory serves me) to get to the park. There is a size restriction on the little boat - but had no issues taking our "B" on it. We like COE parks! ST

Trlrboy, nice photos.The only Kentucky SP we stayed in was Carter Caves which was ok,but the sites look to be very large and private.

Been to Carter Caves also and agree its alright but nothing special.
