North California coast on the cheap
So I've been in Oregon for the last few weeks and I think I understand why every license plate is for California. There are a decent number of boondocking or cheap national forest options to camp at. From what I can see of California - there is very little :(. Everything I'm finding is at least $35/night (for dry camping :E) and most want reservations.
Just looking for any options for boondocking or just cheap options. In a 22' TT. Looking for options near the coast or at least some redwood area from the Oregon border as far down as Sacramento. Looking for a 'set up camp', not just sleep overnight spots... don't need hookups.
I'm considering waiting a couple more weeks until September when reservations aren't as big of a deal. But even then - I can't fork out $35/night.
