Mystic KOA in Stonington CT. is open year round. Things to see and do there: Old Mystic Seaport is open (always a good time there). Foxwoods Casino is just 15 miles away. Newport RI is just 30 miles away too (I always have a good time there). Then there's Battleship Cove in Fall River MA. about 45 miles away. I'm heading to Battleship Cove this weekend, I'll let you know how it is. I'll be staying at Boston/Cape Cod KOA (last weekend for them). There are a lot of CGs that are open year round they just don't advertise it, You just need to be flexible and ask around, Campground usually know who's open. I can think of a dozen or more that are year round (a lot accommodate the snowmobile & sking groupe.
