Looking to do the northeast up to Maine this year in Sept. how is weather normally this time of year. Thanks Jerry

The weather is usually great, the attractions are less crowded, but you will be very aware of the weekends. More so than most places (except Southern California), the parks, campgrounds and roads fill up starting Friday afternoon. Do not plan on switching parks during the weekend, and Labor Day weekend, don't move!
